These days it feels like everything flies by before we're ready. Photography is how I slow that down for both of us. It lets me freeze the moments that matter most so that when life is moving a little too fast, you can look back and remember exactly how it felt. Looking back, I realized I was always fascinated with cameras and photography. If there was a camera laying around, I would grab it and play with it for hours if I could.
My love for this truly began when I moved to San Francisco. Being on my own for the first time, I wanted to document everything that the city had to offer. I realized quickly that empty landscapes weren't enough. I wanted to fill it with happy people and capture their emotions.
Aside from photography, I love food and exploring. Ice cream is the perfect pick-me-up on a bad day, and tequila is great for what the ice cream can't fix. I'm always trying to add a little more whimsy to my life - whether that's growing ranunculus in my backyard, roller skating, or convincing my partner to try a new restaurant on a random Tuesday.
