Every photographer has their own process and workflow. Albeit slightly similar, each experience is unique to you. This page will provide some more insight on what to expect from me in the timespan of us working together. For portraits, I try to get to know my clients as much as possible ahead of time so that it helps me create a positive experience for our session.

Engagement and Family Portraits
Tell me all about you! Fill out that inquiry form and give me all the good stuff. I'll reach back out to you within 24-48 hours to go over logistics and details. Once you're ready, I'll send out a booking form so you can put down a non-refundable deposit that goes towards your service amount.
I'll send you emails along the way to check in to ensure you're fully prepared. This can be from pre-session advice, outfit tips, or even location suggestions. I'll also check in with you to confirm our session date and location.

My couples and even families always insist they are not photogenic but I always disagree! Sometimes it's not about posing but more of capturing the right moment, whether it is mid-laugh or mid-tickle. And of course, I will help pose you throughout our time together.

Delivery includes a link to a private gallery where you'll be able to access all your photos. You'll be able to download them in high resolution so you can print and share with loved ones. You will be provided an opportunity to request minor edits before accepting the gallery in full.

Most sessions include up to 45 minutes of shooting time, 1 outfit with 1 location, and 40 high quality processed digital images. Family session base price includes immediate family (parents + kids). Adding on extended family members/friends require an additional fee at $75/person.

Frequently asked Questions
1. Where are you based?
I'm currently working from Sacramento but still travel all throughout the Bay Area! I used to call San Francisco my home for over 12 years so I am quite familiar with the locations and you'll see it in my galleries. I have a special place in my heart for the bay so please reach out to me even if you're not local and we can talk about your dream session.
2. What is your turnaround time?
Your portrait photos will be delivered to you within 3 weeks. There may be a longer turnaround time during the winter holidays since it's a busier season for me. Please try to book 2 months in advance to secure a date where you'll get your photos early enough for holiday cards.
3. Do you provide raw/unedited images?
I do not provide unedited images. RAW files are technically not image files requiring specific software to open them. Photographers, like myself, spend countless hours perfecting our editing style. Providing unedited images are not a true representation of our work and will do you more of a disservice. We are proud to present you with finished photos aligned with our branding!
4. how many photos will i receive?
For a standard session, you can expect up to 40 edited images. You'll receive your images in an private online gallery.
